WHO (World health organisation) recommend that adults take part in 150 minutes of vigorous physical activity each week.
It is still unclear how does running participation and the frequency or duration of running benefit and reduces the risk of all-cause, cardiovascular and cancer mortality.To investigate the same ,researchers reviewed fourteen studies from six prospective cohorts with a pooled sample of 232 149 participants .On follow up over 5.5 to 35 years , 25 951 died. Study results showed, any amount of running is beneficial and results in a 27 % reduction in death from all causes of death .
